This class is an overview of the possiblities of 3D technology: in art, industry, entertainment, architecture, gaming and science. You'll be using top of the line software called 3D Studio Max to create 3D models and animations. You'll create a variety of models and animations. You'll also explore 3D special effects. These and other projects will give you an understanding of 3D technology and the many career directions that you may take.
Grades - Grading is based on points. 100 is the maximum. The semester grade is based on 100 points.
90 -100 - A
80 - 89 - B
70 - 79 - C
60 - 69 - D
59 - and below - F
Your mid term grade will be based on a 50 point scale.

29 and below -F
* NOTE: To get and A or B you must successfully complete the "ABC News" and the "Bouncing Ball" projects in addition to scoring enough points! Additionally, to receive an "A" you must turn in a completed "Reel" or "Portfolio" of your work. This is a 30- 60 second assembly of your work. It requires a title screen (Your name) at its' beginning and at the end a contact page (Your name, email, web site, tel, etc.). This reel requires that you use a program called "Adobe After Effects" or "Adobe Premiere".
At the conclusion of the course you will assemble your work into a portfolio that can be presented online or on a CD. You'll do this using software called Dreamweaver.
